Dealer quoted me $1,300, not including replacing the hoses. I decided to do it myself and it's going to cost less than $500 for parts (new complete rack, hoses, filter, fluid, outer tie rods) and having a shop do an alignment. The forums I've read say it's not too difficult and takes about 4 hours for a reasonably mechanically inclined person.
