This basically induces a female puberty that results in female secondary sex characteristics (like breast and hip growth, fat redistribution, thinner skin, less muscle, etc.). Remember to take any steps slowly- many of the effects of hormones and surgeries are very very permanent. You don't need to transition to society's view of what a girl is; just try to make yourself more comfortable. If that means wearing makeup, but not taking hormones, then that's perfect. If it means getting all possible hormones and surgeries, then that's perfect too. Don't go too far because someone else wants you to, but also don't let someone else stop you if you really want (need) to transition. It's your body and you're the only one who's going to be living with it the rest of your life.
