That manual, and your regular car drivers manual, should have all the information needed to pass your written test. Go to your driver's license exam station and ask for the CDL Manual.
There is also a road test and you must be familiar with a truck and everything about them to take the road test. Some states require that you train with a truck driving instructor before you're allowed to test. Some only require you to pass it before getting your CDL. Ask when you get the CDL manual.
