As far as I know, all kitchen sinks have the faucet in the middle. There are usually 4 holes, 3 for the faucet and one for the hand sprayer. Some have a fifth hole for a soap dispenser.

If there is a shut off valve under the sink, shut it off and take the line off going to the faucet. Turn the valve on slightly to see if there is water going through it. Not likely. In the past the sprayer port could be blocked of with a small plumbing plug but recent designs are "o" ring with a retainer clip and no block off plug exists for them.
