That depends entirely on the application.
the R stands for RIM , Example R15 Is a 15 Inch Rim The R actually means it is a tire of Radial construction. The wheel & tire diameter is 15" but the width of the rim should be 7" to 8" for this size tire.
More information needed as to EXACT tire size. -Is it a secret.
no, the rim size is 2 inches different.
Simply, no. 8" tires are made to go on 8" rims
That is for a 15 x 8 rim.
For a 12.50 inch wide tire, the Tire & Rim Association approves a rim width range of 8 1/2 inches to 11 inches.
7x8 rim the tire size is 20 x 7.00 x 8
Yes, if the width of the tires are right. You can place 33" x 10" wide tires on 8" wide rims. Your tires will have a number like 33x15x10.5. This is a tire that is 33" in circumference, will fit a 15" wheel, and is 10.5" wide. Just verify whether you have 14",15" or 16" wheels before ordering. The width of the tire is the determining factor here. The most common 33 inch tire size is 33-1250R15, these will probably be too wide for an 8 inch rim.
No. Sorry!
it should fit but it will be kind of ballooned out since its 2 inches wider and as long as you have the clearance on whatever the wheel goes to you should be fine but both wheels are 8 inch diameter, maybe you get lucky and the rim is 7 or 7.5 wide but either way it should fit fine
I run 35X12.50R15 bfg mudders on 15X8" rims. it gives them a narrower look but they run fine off road and on the street. I have an 03 wrangler.
8/1 is the stock rim size for a 1994 Saturn sc
