In ancient times people had basically the same household objects that we have today---tables, chairs, beds, pot, pans, lamps, chests for storage, cooking stoves, etc. The Romans had a few different items such as a nook in one wall for their household gods and if they were patrician of high standing, they would have wax masks of their ancestors.
The ancient Romans used various items that we still use today. Some examples of everyday items they used are knives, forks and plates.
Blown glass (floats), sinks (running water was invented by the early Romans), toilets (Roman irrigation systems), jewelry, pottery, dome design, many others.

They used tools.
It's not particularly important that it was the Romans that invented them, but many things still used today were invented by the Romans. Central heating, concrete, the law that states a person is innocent until proven guilty, aquaducts.
They invented an astrolobe which is like a compass, and also invented gunpowder. Another great invention that we use today of the Tang dynasty is paper.

If you mean what inventions the Romans had that influence us today, well there are a couple. Things like pipes and roads and aqueducts and architecture, the Senate, the idea of a republic, their language, e.t.c
The ancient Romans did, and believe it or not, some aqueducts are still in use today.

The ancient Romans either invented or perfected a long, long list of things. Here are a few of them: concrete, the dome, a taxi meter, the calendar (quite close to the one we use today) the first newspaper, fish farming, indoor plumbing, and central heating. The ancient Romans either invented or perfected a long, long list of things. The ancient Romans and Greeks used small symbols and they eventually evolved in to the alphabet we use today.
The Romans actually invented concrete! We still use that today. They also invented roads. The Roman people invented the making of wine and how to do it. Romans had and used libraries and the building design of Roman buildings are still in use today.
The Ancient Romans were responsible for the production of many items/designs that we still use today. Some of these are: - Advanced roads and roadways - Aqueducts - Water pumps - Tools used in engineering, measuring and construction - Cesareans (or C-sections) - Reinforced concrete - Our calendar - Umbrellas (for both sun and rain) - Showers - Indoor plumbing - Flushing toilets - Books (instead of scrolls) - Ploughs

Litreally countless. There are too many things that China has invented, and still many that we don't know. Many things we use today in everyday life were invented by ancient Chinese people.
Ancient Italy was inhabited by the Etruscans and later was part of the Ancient Roman Empire which is considered by many to be the beginning of civilization as we know it today. The ancient Romans invented many of the things we take for granted today such as spa baths, central heating, public toilets, jewellery, wedding traditions and even graffiti. The other amazing remnant of the ancient Roman Empire was their architecture and art : such things are the Colosseum in Rome, the Pantheon, the Roman Forum, all of which can still be seen in Rome today. There were some traditions which we may think rather barbaric today such as gladiator games which pitted slaves against wild animals - but the Romans viewed that in the same way we would look at going to a football match - just one form of entertainment after a hard week's work. I have added a link to this question which will take you to several web pages about ancient Rome.
The Romans used the arch to build large buildings and bridges.
