It's a GM, and, being a diesel, it'll have a either 4L80E automatic transmission or an NP4500 manual transmission. The rest is really irrelevant. It's an NP233 transfer case. If a manual transfer case, it'll be an NP231. If it's electronic, it'll be an NP233.

sounds like your clutch slave cylinder is leaking and the clutch is not disengaging properly.look at the bottom of the transmission at the front and see if there is any fluid dripping.
