the ecu, not the emu(large Australian bird)is a universal unit containing a mem cal-memory calculater hods the fault codes to be read. don't disconnect the fuse or unit with the ignition switched on. it is in the right hand side foot well.
you can get a service manual for this car by googling .(may experience difficulty, but i do have one.
