Heredity: Heredity is the passing of traits to offspring (from its parent or ancestors). This is the process by which an offspring cell or organism acquires or becomes predisposed to the characteristics of its parent cell or organism. Through heredity, variations exhibited by individuals can accumulate and cause some species to evolve. Some common (human) hereditary traits are eye and hair color and ethnicity. The study of heredity in biology is called genetics, which includes the field of epigenetics.
heredity
half of its genetic material from each parent.
Genes are found on chromosomes and they determine specific characteristics of the organism. They are hereditary and are transferred from the parent to the offspring.
Heredity.
If all the offspring of a testcross are alike and resemble the organism being tested then the parent is homozygous.

acquired characteristics
which is a change in an organism's genes that can be passed from parent to offspring
The difference is with an asexually produced organism, the organism is created using only one parent. With a sexually produced organism, the organism is produced using two parents

During asexual reproduction, a single parent passes copies of all of its genes to each of its offspring. The individual reproduced is the parent cell's clone, an organism that is GENETICALLY IDENTICAL to its parent. Hope that helps!
