All sin makes us 'unrighteous' in the eyes of our Lord. The gift of sex was given to mankind to be used in the institute of Marriage between 1 man and 1 woman as God saw it was not good for man that he should be alone. He did not make another man or give him an animal or some stuffed toy, but made a 'helper comparable to him' - fully complimented to him (Genesis 2:18). All forms of sex outside of marriage or not between a husband and wife are unrighteous to God - the Logos or Word of God is Jesus Christ.
When Adam 1st saw Eve he said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.' This is God's design and no other.
In 1 Corinthians 5: 9-12, Paul speaks of Immorality Must be Judged. I suggest reading it. But the main Scipture is this: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals (catamites), nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God' (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
Like any form of sin, we are weak on our own to fully overcome some pulls upon the flesh. We must pray for a Helper or Comforter known as the Spirit of God, aka the Spirit of Christ to fully overcome as Christ overcame all sin.
