In 1912 life was very hard for many people economically people were poor and everyone had less food and resources , businesses went bad and life was hard Also for women they had to work in factories also cocaine/coke was legal.
The titanic also sank which was a very tragic and bad event.
life was not very good because of all these reasons....
-Life in England was not suitable for working class people in 1912, they were paid little money.
-95% of Britain in 1912 was poor the higher class people won't even be seen talking to a lower class person than them; only if they were a maid or somebody that had been hired.
-The women were told how to act and what to do.
-Working conditions for women were very hard because they were paid little as possible to the businesses could earn more money.
-Any strikes or rebels would be instantly fired.
-Also because of war food was rationed and more expensive jobs were very precious to people
-Rich and poor came together when the war was over.
-If you were rich life was wonderful and people respected you, but if you were poor people looked down upon you.
-Life was not that good because the First World War almost destroyed all businesses.
