President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on Good Friday, April 16, 1865, while serving as the 16th President of the United States so he never had the opportunity to pursue his dreams after the Presidency. He was a great man, and his life ended suddenly and sadly.

Abraham Lincoln was an attorney before he entered politics. His one term in the House of Representatives in 1848, was in between his profession as an attorney.
