Depends on your definitions of "public" and "website," but the first one was probably the World Wide Web Consortium's World Wide Web Project's start page.
Here's a copy: http://www.w3.org/History/19921103-hypertext/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html
By "commercially available" I'm assuming you mean "publicly available" as the web isn't - at heart - a commercial entity.
The answer is:
http://nxoc01.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html
and it could be accessed from any web-enabled client worldwide. Hopefully that's what you were after.
Don't bother checking it as it doesn't exist any more!
august 6 1993 - info.cern.ch made by Tim Berners-lee . It provided an explanation of what the world wide web was and explained about the browsers. It is not currently running anymore.
The first website was CERN, which explained what the world wide web was. CERN was put online 6th of august, 1991.
nxoc01.cern.ch
the used it first

Here is a link to a name generating website.
Tim berners lee
just google his name and it should be the first one :)
You can but first you must design your website
It's called Minecraft, first of all. And its minecraft.net
If you google"what does (your name) mean, you will find the meaning within the first few hits.
I actually looked it up on a baby name website because I think it's a beautiful name (and there was a character in a John Grisham book with the name, which is where I first saw it.) Anyway, the website said the origin of the name is greek, and that it means "beautiful".
Any name that you like! With a short last name, many people choose a longer first name to make a nice alliteration. Here's a link to a name generating website.
I learned this in English class a couple days ago... Book Name(underlined) Author(last name first, if multiple list all) pgs, date published. for a website: Author(last name first), "Title of article", <website adress>
