The US mission in Benghazi, Libya, was attacked and burned 9/11/12. An attack later that night involved mortar and rocket fire against a US diplomatic annex. US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other US nationals were killed. More than 30 Americans were evacuated. It was thought that the attacks were by a mob and due to a video made in the US that mocked the Prophet Mohammed but was later said to be caused by terrorists. Many blame Obama for not responding quickly enough since there were rumors of unrest in Libya for some time before.
