Find and perfect another affordable energy source, the sooner the better.
Oil,coal,gas,petrol,diesel,peat and lignite
Both Fuels were used during WW2, for one example German Tiger tanks used V12 diesel engines and the British Cromwell used V12 Rolls Royce Petrol engine. LandyBry
If we were able to change petrol and diesel powered vehicles to those powered by renewable biofuels and renewable electricity, the world would feel relieved, amazed, happy and wonderful.
Walk, bicycle, drive electric cars. There is always a way to get from point A to point B.
The disadvantages of fossil fuels are........That fossil fuels are used to make oil , petrol and lots more so eventually the world will run out of oil , petrol which also makes electricity so life wouldn't be the same without fossil fuels. This is predicted to happen in the future by scientists , so to make a difference for future life try to use less of this in thw world today and while we have fossil fuels.
The government has the greatest impact on the price of fossil fuels throughout most of the world, followed by the producers. Certainly in the UK about 75% of the retail price is tax.
Petrol prices are the most volatile across the world. The price of gasoline depends on the price of crude oil, the taxes imposed by different states, the exchange rate and oil company costs. Demand and supply imbalance also influence petrol and diesel prices. So prices vary in different countries. In India, petrol prices continue to rise as the country largely depends on imports to meet its requirements.
Plastics, artificial rubber, Vaseline, diesel, gasoline 500 billion tons of plastic produced in the world every year is made from fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). 70% of this ends up in landfills.
The major difference between oil and gasoline is the fact that gasoline is a fuel derivative of oil. Its name is shortened to "gas" in the United States and called "petrol," which is shortened from "petroleum spirits," in other places around the world. Other fuel derivatives of oil are ethane, diesel fuel, jet fuel, kerosene and natural gas. In addition to fuels, refined oil is also used to make olefins, lubricants, wax, sulfur or sulfuric acid, tar, asphalt and many others.
Depending on which part of the world you're from and what specific features you're looking for will give you a range of prices. The biggest difference (where I come from) is between diesel and petrol. With petrol our road user charges are part of the price at the pump. While as diesel you pay less at the pump but get taxed per mile half annually. Typically for a late 2000's Jeep Wrangler over here with an average set of features and petrol, you'd be looking at around $20,000-$25,000USD for a decent one. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately the majority of electricity across the world is made by burning fossil fuels, and these are non-renewable. Your lawnmower or car run on petrol, non-renewable. Coal for the fire.
We use many fossil fules such as coal, petrol, oil etc. If you would like to go more specific, these are not renewable fuels ast they take millions of years to create. This is why we need to find new energy source's because, we burn them in matter of minuetes. Hope this helped :-)
