Anything that might get stuck behind them like very tough fibrous food. Or anything which might displace them like very hard crunchy foods.
Braces are quite hard wearing, but if you are not sure ask your dentist.

∙ 13y agoyou can eat almost most things.. i have probably tried most things with my train track brace any.. i haven't eaten lots of sweets and i don't like fizzy drinks so i don't
have much sugar.
but things that are hard to eat are chewy bars, cereal bars, toffee and anything that will stick to the brace. you should be okay with sweets as long as you don't have to many :)

Why cant you eat tortilla chips with braces?
Yes you can, when I had braces, I could eat whatever I wanted. But be very careful. I sometimes also eat chewy candy, but my braces never broke. I also ate corn on the cob without taking them out and apples without slicing them. It felt like I had no braces but be very careful! Good Luck!!
Does getting a tooth extracted and getting braces hurt?
When you first get braces, it will hurt for a couple days. To stop the pain so much, eat soft food like mash, baked beans, yoghurt ect. Afrter about a week, you wont even realise you have braces! Sorry, I cant help you on the other one!
