The Przewalski horses are not extinct, but they are extremely rare and in danger of extinction. There are not any left in the wild but they can be seen in Zoos.
Przewalski's eat plants. THey are herbivores. Their diet contains mainly of grass, buds, bark, leaves and fruit. IN zoos, they are fed hay and alfalfa.
There are about 2000 in total. 1500 in zoos and 400 in the wild.They are currently listed as Endangered on the ICUN Red List.

The Przewalski never did go completely extinct. they were bred in zoos and re-released back into their homelands. The Tarpan on the other hand went completely extinct but they have 'recreated' the breed and released it into the wild.
