- Urinating more often and larger amounts (urine may smell like nail polish remover)
- Increased appetite
- Sudden weight loss or gain
- Sleeping more than usual or excessive exercise
- Irritability, or unusual biting
- 'Squinty' eyes when awake

∙ 14y agoDiabetes is usually found in cambells dwarfs ages 7 to 9 months. In severe cases this could lead to a coma. Some of the symptoms are drinking a lot, going to pee a lot, shaking or trembling and feeling quite cold. Sadly there are no cures for diabetes but try to give your hamster the best possible sugarfree diet. You could try feeding your hammy carrots, potatoes and maybe even a boiled egg.
