Our nation's top historians reveal that the Democratic Party gave us the Ku Klux Klan, Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws and other repressive legislation which resulted in the multitude of murders, lynchings, mutilations, and intimidations (of thousands of black and white Republicans). On the issue of slavery: historians say the Democrats gave their lives to expand it, the Republicans gave their lives to ban it.
The Democrats:
Democrats opposed:
The Republicans:
There are huge historical events that have been warped to fit the liberal agenda. Most blacks were originally Republicans , because it was Republicans who led the movement to put an end to slavery. It was the GOP that, for the next 100 years, kept introducing the Civil Rights legislation that was repeatedly shot down by the Democrats.
It was the Republican platform that had anti-lynching legislation, anti-poll tax legislation, public accommodation legislation, etc. The Republican platform in 1956 endorsed Brown vs. Board of Education. The Democratic platform did not - in fact, in 1956 they ran a segregationist on their ticket.
"All the segregationists were Democrats, and they were not conservative Democrats - like we're always told,"
The Ku Klux Klan formed due to anger and fear from the retaliation of the newly freed slaves to the white community in the South. Member of the KKK used preemptive and cruel measure to ensure that Blacks would not dare think of rising up or retaliating.
The first branch of the Ku Klux Klan was established in Pulaski, Tennessee, in May, 1866. A year later a general organization of local Klan's was established in Nashville in April, 1867.
Most of the leaders were former members of the Confederate Army and the first Grand Wizard was Nathan Forrest, an outstanding general during the American Civil War.
During the next two years they terrorised and killed black Americans, sympathetic whites and immigrants, who they blamed for the election of Radical Republicans.
Between 1868 and 1870 the Ku Klux Klan played an important role in restoring white rule in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia.
At first the main objective of white supremacy organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan was to stop black people from voting. After white governments had been established in the South the Ku Klux Klan continued to undermine the power of blacks. Successful black business's were attacked and any attempt to form black protection groups such as trade unions was quickly dealt with.
Eventually the Klan targeted anyone they disliked - Jews, Catholics etc.

The Haters Gather: Irrational haters seldom hate alone. They feel compelled, almost driven, to entreat others to hate as they do. Peer validation bolsters a sense of self-worth and, at the same time, prevents introspection, which reveals personal insecurities. Further, individuals otherwise ineffective become empowered when they join groups, which also provide anonymity and diminished accountability.
