Hail occurs when thunderstorms get real cold, and then all that water in the clouds gets more colder. The more it gets colder, it freezes, then turns into hail. Sometimes, hail rain can be big as a Golf ball or a handball!
Hail starts to form when supercooled water vapour condenses and freezes in a tiny clump of ice. Ice crystals, dust and grit in the cloud provide a platform for the water vapour to freeze upon.
Cumulonimbus clouds are very turbulent with strong up and down draughts. This gives the hail opportunities to travel several times through the supercooled water vapour, and each cycle (of accumulating water vapour on the surface and then freezing it in place) will increase the size of the hailstone. For very large hailstones to be created, the updraughts must be strong enough to carry heavy stones upwards and the arrangement of these and the downdraughts must allow many cycles of accummulation.
Hail is frozen rain. How does hail get bigger and bigger. Well, the rain comes down and then goes back up and goes back down and goes back up and repeats that cycle until the hail gets to big for the air to hold it up any longer. Therefore that is how the hail gets bigger and bigger. (Got my answer from my 7th grade teacher.) hope it helped! :)
Hail storms mostly occur during the spring but, they can and do happen during the summer and fall and even sometimes the winter.
were do thunder storms occur
Severe thunderstorms often occur along cold fronts. These storms can produce damaging winds, large hail, flooding, and sometimes tornadoes.
Hail is found anywhere thunderstorms occur, especially severe storms. This would be most places in the mid-latitudes, especially continental locations. The tropics have lots of thunderstorms but not as many generate hail.
Hurricanes do not occur on land. They are only water storms and blow into land.
Intense Rain and Hail which may lead to storms and cyclonic storms.

* Rain * lightning * and high winds mostly but some times thunderstorms can bring about * tornados * flash floods * hail * tropical storms * hurricanes
it can occur anywhere but , mostly in center America

Hail can fall in the tropics. It happens when it's super cold. An example is jamaica, hail can fall in places like clarendon. Hail storms in the tropics are rare but they do occur.

Hail storms are not beneficial in any way, but entirely disastrous.
They are all forms of dangerous weather. Both tornadoes and hail storms are a product of severe thunderstorms and often occur together. Both tornadoes and blizzards produce strong winds. Aside from that they are very different.
Hurricanes do not occur on land. They are only water storms and blow into land.
