no cuz its juz ur speakers that are blown and it should't affect the other parts of the com.
It would be more cost effective to replace the blown engine with a re-manufactured one.
Amplifier or blown fuse.
yes it can be done , i just did it on my 1995 gmc sierra extended cab , e-mail me for more info ... wawzzy@hotmail.com
The size of the front speaker are 5'x4'. You can get adaptor plates to fit 5" speakers. Premium audio also has tweeters. They are pop riveted to the a pillar which is more difficult to replace.
I am in the process of replacing the factory speakers in my wife's 2002 Liberty. Unfortunately, the deck does not drive the speakers, there are small amps in each of the front door speakers. Therefore, you cannot replace them with aftermarket speakers unless you replace the deck as well. The other option is to replace them, add an amp and rewire the entire system. This is not what I bargained for when I started this project but in the end it will be a lot better system then the factory system.
If you do, you will only do more damage. Time to overhaul or replace.
yes use the force this is so silly if all you hear is "fuzzing" then the speaker is blown and there is no way to fix it (without spending more than the speaker costs). If you hear a weard noise when the volume is 1/2 way up or all the way up then it is blown aswell. A blown speaker happens when the source of music is sending a "dirty" signal or you turn the speaker up past its rms/peak for a prolonged time.
It could be faulty wiring or more than likely the fuse is blown. check the owners manual for fuse locations, and use the extra fuses to replace any blown ones.
More than likely it is a fuse. The fuse box is located in the trunk on the left side. Just pull them out one by one in look at the metal through the plastic of the fuse to see if any are blown. Replace the blown ones.
More than likely Chrysler made the poor decision of installing your amplifier under your seat. Bad idea in a convertible (I assume your car is a convertible, or a sunroof in a sebring coupe).... Replace the amp, you should be working again. you may have to remove your passener car seat to get to the amplifier but it should be easliy replaced with a replacement unit. Search online for a replacement.
It depends on the make, model, year, engine, AC or non-AC and your location, need more info.
your question needs more detail - make and HP of engine would be a good start.
