You have to apply for it at the Erie School District. A parent or guardian has to go to the school district in person with the child's birth certificate. They then mail the form to you. You then have to take the form and the child to your family doctor and he or she has to have a physical. The form has to then be taken to the prospective employer and filled out as to what hours and days they will be working. You then take it back to the school district and they mail you the completed working permit.
I live in Pennsylvania so I know that you can go to your local high school and go to the office. They can give you the papers to fill out there. You will need your parent/gaurdian to sign. Good Luck!
Well you get work permits from the guidance office at your school, but i believe most states obilgate you to be 14 before you can work, legally.
You would need to get employed first and then legally they would sign the working papers for you. But I believe you can't do it unless your 15.
