The white Rhinos are grazers, they feed mainly on grass. The black rhinos are browsers and feed mainly on leaves and branches. The whole "white" and "black" thing about rhinos is all down to to a language mix-up. "White" comes from "Weit", which is old Dutch/Afrikaans for "wide", referring to that one of the rhino species found in Africa has a wide, flat mouth, while the others has very pointy lips. It took silly Europeans to come up with that if one is "white", then the other must be "black".
