I'd suggest a simple question is one which can be answered with only a very few words. For example, "What is a newspaper for?" Answer, "To describe in print current events of interest to the public." Or, "What is a cooking pot used for?" Answer, "For cooking food, or for reheating it."
In order to print a character using its ASCII value, you need to first assign it to a char value like this: char c = (char) 65; In this example, we are casting the int 65 to a char, which converts it to an 'A', since 65 is the ASCII value for the capital letter 'a'. Next, you can print it out if you want: System.out.println(c); That's pretty much all there is to it!

Every pixel of the picture is stored in the computer as a stream of data. The data tells the computer (and subsequently the printer) what colour and how bright to display (or print) each pixel. The hardware inside the printer (and the circuitry in the cartridge) converts the data into instructions for the printer cartridge so it uses the correct mix of colours to generate the printed photograph.
