I was also looking for these directions because I couldn't get the vacuum part to work. I finally, by trial and error, figured out how the vacuum sealer works. The bag has to be opened and fits on top AND under the black square in the center under the lid. I noticed that this black "button" was open on the front and not the back, so that is the vacuum. I felt so dumb when I finally figured it out, but wanted to share it, since that was why I was looking for the directions. Anne

I had the same problem, appliance and no instructions. If you go to the deni.com website and look aat the instructions for model 1331, you will find they work fine for the decosonic. Also deni bags aailable at Home Hardware will work for your machine. Best of luck.
