Are you asking where it is located, or where you can buy one?
Most are located under the dash, on one side or the other, but some are found in weird places. Get hold of a copy of Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car, it will show you where it is, and lots of other stuff to boot. Well worth having, even if you are looking to buy an alarm.
In this case, any auto-parts store will carry at least one. All will fit, just buy the one with the features you want. At most, you may need a Bypass kit for the factory installed system, if yours has a factory alarm.
There are no 1996 stanzas
You can find a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder knock sensor picture in most auto repair manuals. Most Nissan dealerships repair centers will provide you with a picture of the sensor.
buy a manual like Hayes or mitchell
VATS = Vehicle Anti Theft System. Look under "alarm" perhaps.
Suggestion is to look in your local area junk yards. Most will have this make/model (1996 Nissan Maxima) and you will find an in place panel fo the fuse diagram.
I'd contact a breaker's yard, or an authorized Nissan dealer.
I have an '07 Nissan Quest with aTPM system. Indicator light is on. Tire pressure screen shows pressure for three of the wheels.n The fourth shows *** for pressure. How do I find out which sensor is failing?
The 2006 Nissan Quest takes a special 14" rear wiper blade which is often difficult to find in stores. See sources and related links below for more information.
Dealer? Salvage Yard? E-Bay?
Maybe if you would google your question, it would pop up....
