The square-root symbol "√" is not available on most computer keyboards. However, it is available by opening up the Character Map application. In windows XP this can be found under start > programs > accessories > system tools.
Conversely, you can just highlight this one √ press ctrl-C to copy it to clipboard, then ctrl-V to paste it to whatever document you want.
Or you can just hit Alt+v= √ on a PC and Option+v= √ on a mac

it's Q Bar. i cant find a symbol for it on the keyboard. but its basically like The rational Symbol (Q) with a horzontal line on top of it.
In order to find out what is wrong with your keyboard it isnecessary to hold the keyboard directly above your face and shake, a trouble shooting wizard should pop up on you computer. Make sure the keyboard is constantly connected to the computer during the process.
Assuming you mean the @ symbol... You can either find it on your keyboard (mine is two keys to the right of the letter 'L'), OR... Click START > ALL PROGRAMS > WINDOWS ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS>CHARACTER MAP... The symbol you want - is in the middle of the 2nd line. Click it, and click Copy - then PASTE it into your document.
