some of the Jewish people were hiding in the non JEWISH people houses

They would also hide in bunkers to avoid being caught. At times so many people made the bunker that someone would rat them out to spare there own lives. Try reading Island on bird street it would help your question.

When Nazis ransacked the Jew's homes, some Jews hid with their neighbors. For example, Anne Frank and her family were hidden with friends for about 28 months. They were finally found a sent to concentration camps where they died shortly there after in the gas chambers.

questions are still too painful to answer. We were children when all of the

Horror surrounded us. The guilt of being a Holocaust Survivor when so many

of our relatives were murdered in gas chambers is unbearable and continues

to haunt us...
