With a few exceptions dolphins are marine animals and therefore live in Oceans not countries. They are found worldwide, mostly in the shallower seas of the continental shelves The exceptions are the: The Amazon River Dolphin Ganges and Indus River Dolphin Chinese River Dolphin
The dolphin species in danger of extinction are the Indus river dolphin, which is a blind dolphin very small which live in the main river of Pakistan, the Indus. There are less than 600 dolphins left of this species.
Many, many types! That's why we should help them! Bottlenose, pink river, river, orcas, are just a few.
Yes, and they are called Boto dolphins. River dolphins are also found in the Orinoco River in South America, the La Plata River in South America, the Yangtze River in China, and the Ganges and Indus Rivers in India.

Yes, dolphins can live in both. The fresh water dolphins are related to the River dolphins. They include Piatanistidae, Ganges and Indus, niidae ( Boto or Amazon ) , Pontoporiida ( Baiji or Franciscana ) But, the only dolphin that can live in both is the Tucuxi ( Sotalia Fluviatilis ) There are may other dolphins that live in salt water though. They include Bottlenose, Spinner, Strpied, and many, many more.
