I have had the same issue with my 02' Liberty, also. I did brakes a few times and jacked
the Jeep up under one side of the lower control arm,and placed the jack stand right
next to it, where the lower control arm meets the crossmember. Not the best location
maybe, but it was hard to find a better spot, considering all the steel guards under
there.LOL.
