The coolant leaves the radiator by way of the lower radiator hose then enters the water pump in most automotive engines.
It shouldn't be doing that ... an electric fan should be kicking in to help cool the water circulating through the radiator.
Gasoline doesn't go in a radiator. Radiator is used to cool a 200+ degree engine block. If mixed the better question is at what temperature does gasoline ignite.

An overflow tank is a bottle that holds coolant that expands and leaves the radiator under driving conditions. The Coolant will go back into the radiator as needed.
If you mean a freeze plug, that is usually in the engine block, not in the radiator. Maybe you mean a clogged radiator. If that is the case. First you would flush it out with water. You can remove the hose from the bottom. Then reattach the hose and add water and a chemical radiator flush product that you can buy from the auto supply store. Drive for about an hour of more. Then flush out the radiator again. Refill the radiator with water and see if your engine runs cool enough. If all that does still does not work go to a radiator shop and have them rod it out. If they can't do that, you may have to put in a new radiator. Good luck. One more thing. You may also want to check the thermostat.
There is a white plastic bottle next to the radiator cap. This is where you put the water. there is a mark saying full . if you go beyond this by mistake it wont do any harm in my experience. the water is sucked from this into the radiator.
It could be that the thermostat is stuck or that the radiator has trash in it and needs to be flushed correctly. If you flush the radiator go to wal-mart and by hyper cool. this will cool the engine 20 degrees cooler than normal.

If you can't see where its coming from, it may be a cracked head, or a bas headgasket. Also, when you add water to the coolant tank, it doesn't immediately go into the radiator. After the car sits a while, the radiator starts to cool, creating a vacuum. Water/coolant is then pulled into the radiator from the coolant tank.
They collect water in their trunks and spray it ton their back. Sometimes they will go in the water to stay cool.
the warmth from the hot water will go to the cool water and it will make both waters cool
