About nine minutes into the flight, the external fuel tank is jettisoned from the space shuttle orbiter. Because there is no viable way to bring the external tank back to the Earth intact, they are instead allowed to re-enter the atmosphere where they are destroyed. After re-entry, whatever is left of the fuel tanks land in the Indian ocean.
No new space shuttles are being built at this time.
Space shuttles are placed in a hangar at Kennedy Space Center when not on a mission or on pre- or post flight processing. The very tall Vehicle Assembly Building is where they are prepared for flight and where the External Fuel Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters are joined to the orbiter. Post flight checks and repairs are also carried out here.
Space Shuttles do not land in Houston
Space shuttles are plane like vehicles that travel in space, i hope that answered your question
The reason being is that N.A.S.A does not want to lose millions and billions of dollars in shuttles or crafts so they put computers that can be tracked and remotely controlled so people do not risk their lives in space and so the shuttles/crafts don't get lost in space.

Space shuttles use energy, not make it

It is not expected that the Space Shuttles will fly again.
Stations are built in space; Shuttles use rocket boosters.
no place, nobody has space shuttles anymore
No space shuttles were used in 1980.
They changed the world by being the first reusable spacecraft.
