In the main fuse box you will usually find a fuse marked "inst lmps" or "dash lts" but first check the headlight switch on your vehicle. All vehicles have an adjustment for brightness of your dashlights by either rotating the light switch itself or a wheel switch next to it. It is possible to turn your dash lights completely off with this switch if you want to and some of them are real easy to turn off by accident. The same switch if turned far enough will cause your overhead light to come on.

Turn on the dashboard lights, and start removing the fuses one by one. When the dashboard light turned off, that is the good fuse. If the dashboard fuse is burnt, start replacing the fuses one by one, and when the dashboard will light up that is the place of the burnt fuse.
