there is a little hole under the CD door, push something thin there and the door will open.
Gently push the end of an opened (unbent) paper clip into the small hole on the front of the door. It doesn't take much pressure.
the whole front panel comes off in one piece, easiest place to start pulling is all the way to the left near the drivers door next to the headlight switch, pull carefully and you should start to see it separate, tilt wheel all the way down and put in 1st to get stuff out of the way and tilt forward on the piece to aid in removal. you should then see the 4 screws to take the radio out. good luck.
I had a 1989 Volvo 240 wagon that had a hard time not bottoming out on my driveway every day, so eventually the rear bumper actually FELL OFF all by itself! It's not unusual for the posts that hold it to the car to rust through. That said, if you don't get a good answer here (and you haven't tried this already) go to www.brickboard.com. They have an enormous database of information, all about Volvos. Good luck!
It's a device that you stick into the ignition of a car and it removes the entire console from the dashboard...it's meant for replacing ignitions if something gets stuck there or some other reason preventing you from using the ignition....ALTHOUGH some people use it to cripple cars for people as well, a more severe case of tire slashing when you think about it ... :)
The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You may want to go to a car parts store, or book store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.
You can search for a 1971 instruction manual on line.
But if you cant find it here's a simple explanation. The knobs are in the middle of the dash. Top Left abve radio: Wipers, push the center for washer fluid. Top Middle, if optioned on the car, a switch for an auxillary fan (may not be working) Then a brake light circuit checker. Push with ignition on, it should light. These are often not working due to so many mods being done over the years. Top right, headlights. Lower middle, below the radio, both of these control the flow of fresh air to the vents. Below these knobs, there is an optional knob on the left of the ashtray for an auxilalry heater if the car has it, and on the lower right side of the ashtray is your emergency blinker...pull to activate it. Should have a light bulb in it which also flashes. That's about it!
Believe it or not but padded dashboards came about on wagons. Even the term " dashboard " comes from the parts of a wagon. On a wagon a dashboard is the part that is in front of the driver and protests his/her legs.. It was padded for further protection.
We call it a dashboard, or sometimes just dash.
I guess some people may call it an instrument panel or console, but vary rare.
If you have to ask this question, you should not even attempt it. This is a very complicated procedure that requires a repair manual and experience. It will take at least a day of work to do.
Laundry detergents usually contain enzymes to help remove protein based stains like food and blood. Try keeping the egg stain soaked in laundry detergent and water for several hours. Cover it with a wet towel to keep it wet. The enzymes should dissolve the egg.
Thermostat problem, head gasket, coolant leak, cooling fans on rad not coming on or coming on at the wrong time/temp.AnswerThermostat problem, head gasket, coolant leak, cooling fans on rad not coming on or coming on at the wrong time/temp. AnswerI don't know what is causeing the vehicle to over heat. However, I can tell you there is a trick to releave the pressure on certain valves so you can get to were your going.. or if your stuck in traffic..Put your heater on full blast and roll down the windows that will hold you over until you get her in the shop.
One of the car's fluids is running low, can be coolant or even window washer.
== == Under the bonnet next to the battery. It is located in a black box, once cover is removed replace all blown fuses with correct fuses.
1. (Recommended) Most CD players have a very tiny hole in the front plate. You may need to get on eye-level with the CD player to see the hole, or rub your finger gently across the front of the player until you can find it. Then, use a straightened paper clip to push (gently!) into that hole to release and open the CD player's drawer.
2. (Possible) I used the blade end of a plastic knife to unjam the CD and then it ejected.
If the door opens but the CD is stuck in the tray:
Try to pry it out with another CD. - it worked for me.
i dont drive but good luck
No, power inverters aren't good enough for Home audio equipment and the power supply inside your amp/receiver will buzz like it's going to blow up due to the power inverter. Trust me, been there, tried that.

The bonnet release cable breaking is a common problem in the Ford BA Falcon, and if done incorrectly removing or replacing it can result in having to replace the fuse block as well. It is best to have this done by a qualified mechanic.
