Do you mean how to reset the alarm system if it goes off? If so I had to disconnect my battery cable so it could reset itself. The dealer told me to use the key on the passenger side door and unlock it. This should stop the alarm. But mine didn't work. Good Luck.
I've found with mine that if I hit the auto-lock while both the driver's and passenger's doors are open, it is more likely to arm the alarm. The only way I'm able to get it turned off other than disconnecting the battery (because my keychain remote is dead) is to open the trunk using the key. lol I have no idea why this works, but it always does.
I own a 1995 Dodge Avenger. And, when my alarm goes off, I insert my key in the drivers side door and lock and unlock the door. This is the only way I am able to turn off my alarm.
It does not have a shut off switch. The fuel system is controlled with relays.
The factory security system does not have a valet switch.
No. The system is computer controlled with a relay.
there is no factory kill switch. is there an after market security system on the car?
Dodge does not use inertia switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
Only the factory PassLock / PassKey security system.
I'm not sure what you mean by "kill switch" But there should be a red push button on the bottom left of your dashboard. The switch can be used to reset your alarm system
if your clutch switch has failed it can be pushed in by using your finger it is located on the inboard side of the steering wheel and is contacted by a hammer looking trigger as the switch wears out it sometimes won;t make.
the valet switch is feature of an alarm system that is not factory...the installer may have placed the button just about anywhere...within reach of the driver usually...good luck..:)
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.
the switch is located on a bracket at the top of the brake pedal (its the switch with 2 connectors) the other 1 is for cruise control system.
no reset switch in this system
