On a 2005 Nissan Maxima where is the Camshaft Position Sensor (Bank 1) located?
bank one is drivers side, sensor 2 is rear O2 sensor(oxygen sensors are screwed into exhaust pipes)
Bank 2, Sensor 1 is located on the front of the engine(radiator side), before the first catalytic converter.
If bank 1 and bank 2 sensor bad car won't start
go here: http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/NTB02-051a.pdf
Bank 2 Sensor 1 located downstream left front rear side.
The MAP sensor is mounted at the rear of the left-bank (front) cylinder head.
bank 2 is on the left side of the engine or the side closest to the front of the vehicle. So the oxygen sensor would be on the exhaust coming from the left side.
Applied to : 2000-2002 Maxima P1167 (Bank 2) Ho2S2 (Rear) (High Voltage Monitoring) Replace Oxygen Sensor... Check out this site..http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/Bulletins/Nissan/2002/NTB02-051.htm
