That depends on what you choose to call a nest. Most birds that nest on the ground only scratch a depression and do not line it. Many birds use nests made by others. Waders usually use no nest but may arrange a few pebbles. Terns mostly build no real nest.
All birds have wings. It's just that some of them are useless for flight.
Even the New Zealand kiwi has wings, though it appears to have none. The wings are small and rudimentary, hidden under the kiwis' hairy feathers, but certainly present.
Some of the Flightless Birds are members of the ratitefamily. Other ratites besides the kiwi include the emu of Australia, Southern cassowary of Australia and New Guinea, the ostrich from Africa (the largest of the flightless birds) and the rhea from South America. Ratites have wings but the bones in their chests do not have the capacity for flight muscles, which is what a bird needs to fly.
Penguins cannot fly, using their wings instead as flippers, but they are not ratites. Nor is the kakapo of New Zealand, the world's only flightless parrot. Tinamous are ground-dwelling, flightless birds (about 47 species) which are related to ratites; they live in Central and South America.
I dont believe there are any birds that dont lay eggs except for the males
House sparrows and starlings are known to participate in communal roosting, rather than building individual nesting sites.
There are a number of types of birds that do not build a nest. Penguins do not make a nest and nor do many waders or game birds. Cuckoo birds do not make nests.

cuckoo i s called lazy bird, because it do not build it's own nest.
Chimney Swift birds are known for building their nests in chimneys; that's how they get their name. They also build nests in trees but have lost places for their homes due to deforestation.
A hen does not learn how to lay an egg, she knows. Millions of years of evolution have hard wired an instinct into the bird not only how to lay an egg, but where to build a nest for it, and how to build the nest, its much like with human females and the passing of their eggs, hormones dictate the timing of ovulation, and affect the birds behaviour when the egg is due.
A bird's nest is called a "nest."

I saw a bird build a nest on my porch light, after the bird was done building it's nest, it flew away and did not come back for at least 3 or 4 days. Did the bird went to find food or find a mate?AnswerProbably to find a mate, some species of bird build a nest before mating. Also leaves too look for food.
