The states that were included during the Louisiana Purchase of 1803/1804 are Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. Also, parts of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Louisiana were included. Two Canadian Provinces were also included. These were parts of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
