Who can ship guns from Canada to the US?

Generally, this is not allowed. The rules for posessing firearms are different here than in the United States, which shouldn't be surprising since they are different countries. I think there are some allowances for hunting with some kinds of rifles but there's lots of paperwork so make sure you have it, and organized, when you come to the border.

If the firearm is being exported to the United States, individuals only need an export permit if the firearm is prohibited.

If a restricted or prohibited firearm is being exported permanently, the Registrar of Firearms must be given written notice and provided evidence, such as a copy of an export document from Canada or an import document from another country, that the firearm is no longer in Canada.

That is from a government of Canada site but that means very little. They, both countries, change these rules often, and then change them back, and then change them again to the point of frustration. The rules also vary depending on what the border personnel had for breakfast.

And there is no recourse when they waste your time and money which is why it can be so frustrating and why such incompetence is increasing.

But never fear, help is near. There are companies that can ship your firearms trouble fear and legally. I would suggest contacting a local gun shop, not one of the big chains, a local shop and ask who they deal with.

Some can ship them for you. Yes they will charge a fee, which is a waste if you have all the time in the world and no problems at the border but is very reasonable for the peace of mind that comes with handing the problem over to someone else.

Of course you can; but it will be victim to duty fee's.

Tobacco is so heavily taxed in canada its almost criminal.
