Abraham

ANOTHER ANSWER:

In the final analysis, the "Promised LAND" God vowed to "Abraham's descendants" is revealed to be THE WHOLE EARTH. More precisely, the NEW EARTH that we read about in the 21st chapter of Revelation that God has been preparing since the foundation of the world for the "re-born" Children of His future Divine, Immortal FAMILY.

In the final analysis, Abraham's "descendants" who shall receive the WHOLE EARTH for their inheritance, will be those who shall have acquired the Faith of God… and in God... in the course of their lives; those who had the same Faith that Abraham displayed:

"…is this blessing [that ALL THE FAMILIES [nations] of the earth will be blessed through Abraham] only for the Jews, or is it for the Gentiles, too? Well, what about Abraham? We have been saying he was declared Righteous by God BECAUSE OF HIS FAITH. But how did his Faith help him? Was he declared Righteous only AFTER he had been circumcised, or was it BEFORE he was circumcised? The answer is that GOD ACCEPTED HIM FIRST, and THEN he was circumcised later! The circumcision ceremony was a sign that ABRAHAM ALREADY HAD FAITH and that God had ALREADY ACCEPTED HIM, and declared him to be Righteous - even before he was circumcised. So Abraham is THE SPIRITUAL FATHER OF THOSE WHO HAVE FAITH but have not been circumcised. They are made Right with God BY FAITH…" (Rom.4:9-11 NLT)

"The REAL CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM, then, are ALL THOSE WHO PUT THEIR FAITH IN GOD. What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would accept the Gentiles, too, ON THE BASIS OF THEIR FAITH. God promised this Good News to Abraham long ago when He said, 'All nations will be Blessed through you. [through his descendant, the Jew, Jesus Christ]. And so it is: All who put their Faith in Christ SHARE THE SAME BLESSING ABRAHAM RECEIVED because of his Faith." (Gal.3:7-9 NLT)

"It is clear, then, that GOD'S PROMISE TO GIVE THE WHOLE EARTH TO ABRAHAM AND HIS DESCENDANTS was not based on obedience to God's Law, but on the new relationship with God that comes BY FAITH." (Rom.4:13 NLT New Living Translation)

The message of The Bible is the announcement of the Good News [gospel] of the KINGDOM OF GOD coming to this deceived, upside-down, wicked world we've made for ourselves, apart from Him.

It's the message of Jesus Christ bringing about mankind's Salvation; saving His special creation, created In His image, to one day be changed from mortal, and being re-born as God's Immortal Children, to Live Eternally in their Father's House: their Father's Kingdom… their Father's Household.

It's the message of Jesus Christ [the Almighty Creator God of the Old Testament - John 1:1-3] coming to execute JUDGMENT upon all the people who have EVER lived and died throughout the generations of man.

It's the same message that even old Enoch preached to the pre-flood generations before they killed him; the message that no generation of selfish, rebellious man could ever stand still for, much less "believe":

"…people mock and curse the things they do not understand. Like animals, they do whatever their instincts tell them, and they bring about THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION. How terrible for them! For they follow the evil example of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they will do anything for money. And like Korah, they will perish because of their rebellion. When these people join you in fellowship meals celebrating the Love of the LORD, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are shameless in the way they care only about themselves. They are like clouds blowing over dry land without giving rain, promising much but producing nothing. They are trees without fruit at harvest time. They are not only dead but DOUBLY DEAD, for they have been pulled out by the roots. They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the dirty foam of their shameful deeds. They are wandering stars, heading for everlasting gloom and darkness. Now ENOCH, who lived seven generations after Adam, PROPHESIED ABOUT THESE PEOPLE. He said: 'Look, THE LORD IS COMINGwith thousands of His Holy Ones. He will BRING THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD TO JUDGMENT. He will convict the ungodly of all the evil things they have done in rebellion and of all the insults that godless sinners have spoken against Him.' These are grumblers and complainers, doing whatever evil they feel like…" (Jude 1:10-16 NLT)

God promised the Promised LAND: the future NEW EARTH, to ALL WHO SHALL PUT THEIR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. The assessment of which will be determined for everyone in the Judgment, the Last Great Day of God's plan.

"And IF YOU BELONG TO CHRIST, THEN you are the descendants of Abraham, and HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE." (Gal.3:29 MNT Montgomery New Testament)
