NO one but Jesus has gone to heaven - Not King David, Moses, Abraham, Mary, Peter, John, etc... But if we become disciples (imitators) of Jesus by repenting, getting baptized, and following Him after the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit begetting us to be like Him (Acts 2:38-41), we will become children of the God family here on the new Earth (2 Corinthians 6:18; Revelation 21):
Acts 2:29New King James Version (NKJV)29 “Men andbrethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
John 3:13New King James Version (NKJV)13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
Everyone!
Jurusalem
No. Jesus' father in heaven is also our Father in Heaven
Palm leaves
Jesus' Disciple John had visions of Heaven and God.
Heaven is a definite place described in the Bible. Jesus IS there, but he is a physical being inhabiting heaven, He is not Heaven itself. Good question.
Jesus is with his Father in Heaven.
----------------------- We know nothing about heaven, even whether it really exists. What we can do is hope that we will see Jesus in heaven.
Jesus went to Heaven when he died on Earth, not Hell.
It is called the Ascension of Jesus. After his resurrection, Jesus was taken up to heaven in the presence of his disciples.
Heaven
There is no extra-biblical evidence that Jesus ascended to heaven.
Jesus is in God's kingdom. (Earth)
