Richard Nickell or William Benedict was undergoing an investigation, one of many. He was found not guilty of the others, a sign of what financial resources can offer in the court room?

It is of no shock that he had a super attorney made available by his families finances handle this latest accusation. It was in a state of appeal [the trial] until another man claimed similar charges against Richard. This latest charge then contributed to the decision for Richard to take his own life on 3-8-11.

Richard, or William Benedict, would be facing life in prison. Possibly multiple sentences, as me and many others were prepared to go ahead with our own charges. During the last 6 years of his life or so, he underwent a change in his own profile to mask the reality of his true nature. The most ironic to note is the Light in the Window foundation he created to help abused children. Whereas this was a noble cause, the very person who created it was the very type of person children should be kept away from. Shame on NPR and other commercial television networks to air his commercial without first doing their homework.

He also become an ordained minister. Blasphemy.

Enjoy his writings, his Photography, his music, his software and his many talents. But know the man was a serial male-child molester that destroyed many childrens' lives and families.
