My pet-sitter charges $15 a day for one pet and $20 for two. My dogs are small (under 15 pounds). I don't know what she charges for larger dogs. She keeps the pets in her home and feeds them for the same charge. i pay 10$ / day......for one pet.....includes feeding, walking, and the pet can stay with the sitter while we are gone or the pet can stay at home. I pets sit I change $30/day for dogs don't do the size of dogs. For the cats just change $10/day because do for cat just clean the litter box once a day. Sometime I will make them chosen the price or rates they like doing that because make feel happy and clam.

Most pet owners know other pet owners. With that in mind, it is always worth asking friends and neighbors with pets to recommend good pet sitters.Choosing the right pet sitter takes more than reading an online ad. For peace of mind, you will want to know that the pet sitter has a good history and that there is a rapport between the sitter and your pet.

There is no specific age requirement for pet sitting, but usually you should be within the 11 to 16 year old range and have a strong sense of responsibility. People with pets are most likely to hire you if you have that sense of responsibility and are kind and considerate toward animals. People with pets themselves are favored by those looking for a pet sitter as they have experience with a pet and know how to care and look after others' pets.
the only person who can hire or fire a baby sitter is the adult who employed the baby sitter in the first place.
As this question is in "jobs for pre-teens" I would highly recommend that any pre-teen or anyone who is a minor to stay away from pet sitting. For more information on what it takes to be a professional pet sitter (thus the reason why pre-teens or anyone who is a minor should NOT do pet sitting) or to find a quality pet sitter please visit the (international) Pet Sitter Locator
