Ra, or Amun Ra, Amen Ra, and some more names, even, believe it or not, is the Sun God of Egypt.

He, i think, created the Gods but if you mean genetically, it would not be consistent to name a relation.

But i could be wrong.

In the tales, Ra fights Apophis the Dragon every night, if he loses, the sun wont come up, if he wins, there will be a tomorrow.

Sleep well.

I am pretty sure he is the main Egyptian god. He is also the Egyptian god of the sun.

He made man kind with his tears.

It is believed in ancient Egypt that the sun is his eye.

Yeah, R'a was the god of the sun and he was said to pull the sun across the sky everday and be eaten by Nut goddess of the sky at night, he was reborn the next day.
