Judaism, Islam, and Christianity would all seem to stem from Abraham (Torah, Bible are sources I'm familiar with.) Abraham's indiscretion with his wife's maidservant (impatient that he "couldn't have children with his wife) lead to Hagar/Ishmael) and the source of the Islamic nations.
