The Vice-President of the United States is the President of the US Senate. Joseph R. Biden, Jr., Vice President of the United States, became President of the Senate on January 20, 2009. He is not a member of the Senate but can vote in case of a tie vote.
The Vice President of the United States presides over the US Senate. He cannot vote unless there is a tie vote. But on a daily basis, this role is fulfilled by a senior senator, the President pro tempore, or his designates.

Joe Biden is the current US Vice President. His term will expire on Jan. 20, 2017. Patrick Leahy, from Vermont is the senate president pro tempore which is a position elected by the Senate and filled by a senior senator.

The Vice President of the US holds this position. He can vote in case of a tie vote, but due to closure rules, it takes 60% to pass anything and he can not vote to create the 60%.
The vice-president acts as the president of the Senate. Right now, that person is named Joe Biden.

The elected Vice President of the United States. He presides over the senate, and when a member of the senate speaks on the floor, and refers to the presiding chair, a senator always uses the title "Mr. President." (There has not been, yet, an elected female Vice President.) Other activities of the USA's Vice President forces him to rarely preside, but to be relieved for long periods by different members. (If a female member, she is refered to as "Madam President." This Chair, when it is the elected Vice President, does not have a vote, none at all, except for a single exception: when it is necessary to break a tie vote upon matters before the body. The U. S. Constitution is the best source for explaining the senate's basic role, while the changing Rules of the senate are very complex. The original method of electing senators, by the separate state legislatures, has changed to the modern system of direct election of canidates at large.

These days either people are among those who are staying put in their homes or those who are looking to sell and downsize. However, if you’ve spent any time at all on today’s market, you know that the outlook is grim for home sales. If you want to sell your home in this market, you have to add some extra perks so that the buyer notices your home over the many others that are on the market right now. For instance, you could add a porch, a deck or an above ground swimming pool to sweeten the deal a little more. These types of additions are extremely cost effective when it comes to the value of your home.

An above ground swimming pool can be added to virtually any yard you can imagine. They are not as labor intensive as in-ground pools because you don’t have to dig out a base before you install it. The above ground pool will be something that you can literally have set up in one weekend and have it filled and ready to go by early the next week. They are somewhat easier to maintain as well. In addition, if someday you decide you don’t want it anymore, you simply have to drain it, take it apart and haul it away. This is not the case with an in-ground pool.

Adding a pool to the list of perks about your home is an easy way to raise the worth of your home by about five or ten thousand dollars. That’s because people are willing to pay a little more for a yard that has something like a pool included. This is, after all, money that they won’t have to spend renovating the yard if they choose to buy. In today’s market, any way you can appear to save the buyer money is a great way to market your home.

Making this addition can be done on a budget. There are many used above ground pools to choose from so you will be able to find the perfect model for your backyard. Don’t put this wonderful home improvement off any longer. Get out there and make it happen.
