Some believe Moses is more important than Abraham in the Jewish religion. Moses is a more prominent figure because he was given the law and wrote part of the Torah under the inspiration of Holy Ghost.
Judaism does not "rank" prophets in terms of importance. Even the term "minor prophet" refers to the size of the book rather than the importance of the prophet.

Moses was born Jewish. Abraham, who lived a few centuries before Moses, was the first to repudiate idolatry and teach people to worship the One God. This was a personal decision, or conclusion, which Abraham made after careful research and contemplation.
