Andrew Jackson (March 15, 1767 - June 8, 1845) was the 7th President of the United States. He was married Rachel Donelson Robards Jackson (June 15, 1767 - December 22, 1828) from 1791-1794, which was considered invalid and from 1794-1828, her death. They never had any children together.
He did, however, act as adopted father or guardian to 11 children during his lifetime. They are as follows:

Caroline, Eliza, Edward and Anthony Butler, orphaned children of Revolutionary War General Edward Butler who name Andrew Jackson as guardian; they often came to live at the Hermitage after their father's death.
