Islamic Law is the backbone of the religion of Islam. Islam is much more than a simple code of worship. In fact, Islam gives more importane to the social life than to the spirtual life. In this manner, Islamic law becomes even more important. In the traditional Islamic setting, there is no place for new legislation and so the Islamic law is responsible for keeping the whole of society right and for ensuring a comfortable experience for all the members of the society.

according to Islam disobeying God is sin and God will is described in Quran and are called Islamic laws. and according to Islam disobeying laws of Islam may lead entering Hell.

God created this world, the Sun, Moon, Stars the Galaxy and other Planets, Humans, Plants and all Living creatures. Our stay in this world is for a short period as we will be called back after death to live again. Every thing belongs to the Almighty God and as such we have to follow His rules, regulations and laws.

To guide the people on this Earth God sent numerous Prophets, and reveled many Scriptures like the Torah, Bible, Psalms, Gospel, but it was ignored and lost and corrupted. The Final book was revealed to the last Prophet, Prophet Mohammad and this was The Holy Quran outlining the laws, rules and regulations, code and ethics and the way of life.

Each soul will be judged on the day of Judgement, and if we have disobeyed Him or committed sins we will be punished. The Righteous will be rewarded a place in Heaven, and the sinners will face the Hell fire.

This is the reason that in Islam, Islamic Laws (Gods Laws) are important to Muslims as we are preparing not for the comforts and luxuries of the life in this world but the rewards in the hereafter.

How did Islamic law affect Muslims towards christians and Jews?

Islamic law is actually secular - Islam does not have a clergy or institution like you'll find in Christianity and Judaism. This means Islamic jurisprudence deals with Muslims as it does people of other faiths. But there are certain distinct privileges within the faith which are reserved for Muslims. Things like Zakat (alms to the poor) but they can be spread to include non-Muslims as "sadaqa" (alms to the poor in general). Its not the religion or laws that affected Muslims attitudes towards other faiths, but the various cultures and politics of Muslims around the world.

What muslims cant eat?

There are certain things Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink. Muslims, everyone knows are NOT allowed to eat pork. Through Islamic law, pork is considered "filthy meat". Muslims are also not allowed to drink alcohol. Other than that, Muslims may pretty much eat anything else. Also, Islamic law isn't such a big fan of processed and frozen food. I'm not exactly saying that Islamic law forebids you from eating frozen food, but on Ramadan it is DEFINATELY forebidden. The only exemptions from these rules, are those who are extremely sick, about to die and with no choice if pork, or frozen foods were the only thing available. They are also allowed to eat at day on Ramadan, shall that be the case.
