Airplanes over the past 90 or so years have changed a lot. We have gone from small, propeler driven, fragile, all fabric and wood, 100mph top speed aircraft only able to reach 200 feet in the air at most, to all metal jet aircraft that can double the speed of sound at up to 60,000 feet up.
Aircraft designs now involve jet engines, metal construction, World Wide Electronic Navigation Systems, Carbon Fibre construction in some parts of modern aircraft. Modern aircraft now fly all around not just all over the planet. All of these things have happened since 1903
Since their inception fighter jets have become much more powerful, able to fly faster, higher and carry more weapons . Guns are now almost an anachronism as most modern fighters carry a range of missiles for defence and attack.
Now they are more high-tech, they are safer, and they can be bigger, and can travel a longer distance then before.
Airplanes are better than cars because they have faster transportation, and also you don't have traffic problems, you also are safer in airplanes than cars.
The wings of an airplane are near-flat surfaces that plane the air.
The earliest reference to paper airplanes I know is that Jack Northrop used paper airplanes in the 1930's to help in his ideas for flying wing airplanes.I believe that I can extend your history of paper airplanes back to at least 1908-1909.
A and P [ airfames and powerplants
Yes. They are used in wheels and...stuff....
An aeronautical or mechanical engineer.
To reduce drag and therefore improve performance and efficiency.
All gliders are airplanes, but not all airplanes are gliders.
Yes, jets really are airplanes but they are faster airplanes.
airplanes are cool
Yes, jets are airplanes but they are called supersonic airplanes.
Yes, airplanes are aircraft. However, not all aircraft are airplanes. Helicopters, blimps, and balloons are aircraft- but they are not airplanes. Airplanes are generally fixed wing machines that move through the air.
Airplanes.
No, there were no airplanes in the Victorian era.
Something about airplanes
Airplanes are kept in hangars.
Yes, they had airplanes in 1907. Flight in airplanes began about 4 years before that.
People use model airplanes because they like airplanes or the look of them.
